About the Genome Sequencing Facility
The Kansas University Medical Center - Genome Sequencing Facility has been providing NGS services since 2010. The facility operates the Illumina NovaSeq 6000 Sequencing System, 10X Genomics Chromium X, and the Mission Bio Tapestri single cell DNA system. Leveraging the the advanced speed and throughput capabilities of the NovaSeq System, Investigators can accelerate their research by performing large scale sequencing studies for single cell expression (3’ and 5’), single cell ATAC, single cell V(D)J, Chromium Flex - Fixed RNA, Tapestri single cell DNA, global transcriptome, genome and epigenome. The Genome Sequencing Facility operates in conjunction with the Kansas Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center Bioinformatics Core allowing for coordination of sequence data analysis support between the Investigator and Bioinformatic specialists. Investigator support for library validation, nucleic acid isolation and quality control is also available through the Genome Sequencing Facility.
