Are you a diabetes researcher or clinician interested in collaborating?
The KU Diabetes Institute supports the fundamental role of basic research, data collection, and outcomes research to improve the lives of people with diabetes. We offer expertise in study design, grant preparation, study start-up (sponsored and IIT), regulatory management, and study coordination.
For assistance with grant preparation, please allow at least two months prior to the deadline for pre-review. For more information, please contact Business Operations Specialist, Lindon Giesen.
Services provided to assist with grant preparation:
- Editing – editorial review for grammar, formatting, and clarity
- Scientific Pre-Review - the KU Diabetes Institute will assemble 2-3 researchers in the area of study to review and to provide feedback to the principal investigator.

KC Diabetes, Obesity, and Nutrition Seminar Series – KUDI hosts a seminar each month as part of the KC-DONS. Interested investigators can sign up to present aims pages, study design, etc. to a broad group of researchers for immediate feedback and discussion
