During April's Volunteer Appreciation month, it reminded us just how powerful volunteerism can be. A few of our incredible volunteers joined us for a small gathering to celebrate their commitment that continues to inspire us. Because of people like them, nearly 30,000 children in the KC area experience the joy of books, learning, and support each year.

From sorting and preparing books, to supporting events and committees, to reading with children in our clinics — every hour, every task, every moment matters. Their generosity fuels our work, and we are deeply grateful for the impact they create.
