Our Mission: To strengthen all families with young children through guidance from medical clinicians about nurturing relationships through shared reading.
Founded by pediatricians at KU Medical Center and Children’s Mercy in 1997, Reach Out and Read Kansas City has distributed more than 1.3 million books during well-child visits at our partner clinics. Learn more about our organization and history.
