Project Nurture Book Drive
Surveys of our families show that 71% of our home-based program families have fewer than 25 children's books in their home.
Research demonstrates access to books is associated with more opportunities to build children's literacy skills.
Working to develop early literacy and learning skills is critical to helping young children be ready for school. Talking, reading and looking at books regularly in any language helps boost child development. Strong reading skills form the basis for learning in all subjects.
Help us nurture a love of reading in the children in our Project Nurture programs by donating new infant and toddler books. Though we aren't hosting an in-person drive at this time, you can always view our Amazon Wish List for suggested titles.
Books donated through the Project Nurture book drive will be added to our Birthday Book Club bookshelves. Our Birthday Book Club assures that every child in our program will be able to take brand new books home every year on their birthday!
