Help Us Feed Our Project Eagle Families
Together, we can put food on the table.
How You Can Help
The ongoing government shutdown is expected to pause funding for WIC and SNAP, which are programs that many of our Project Eagle families rely on to feed their children.
Project Eagle is an early childhood education program serving families in Wyandotte County, provides comprehensive support for young children and their caregivers. For many families, these programs mean the difference between an empty plate and a full one.
We’re asking our community to come together and help bridge the gap by donating non-perishable food, baby supplies, and culturally familiar items that reflect the families we serve.
Every contribution, whether big or small, helps ensure that no child goes hungry.
Donate Non-perishable Food & Supplies
Help families put healthy, comforting meals on the table by donating items like these:
- Food Staples: Rice, dried beans, pasta/noodles, soups, lentils, flour, corn meal, canned tomatoes, cooking oil, sugar, salt, broth, tuna, healthy snacks.
- Fresh Produce: Potatoes, onions, carrots, apples, oranges
- Baby & Family Essentials: Formula, diapers (size 4-7), pull-ups (size 4-7), baby wipes, laundry detergent, toothpaste/toothbrushes, deodorant, body wash, feminine hygiene products
