Professional Background

The process of becoming a well-rounded physician requires a combination of consistent reading, experience (seeing a variety of presentations of both common and uncommon diseases), and effective communication with patients and healthcare staff. When working with students and residents, my goal is to provide an environment where each learner can hone these skills and develop their own practice style that is built on a foundation of evidence-based medicine.

Hospitalist, KU Medical Center. Practicing as a hospitalist on the med private services, 1.0 FTE. Eight weeks of clinical time per year are spent on the academic services, teaching residents and medical students (July 2017 - June 2023).
