Research

Overview

I am a surgical pathologist and cytopathologist in an academic medical center. I have been practicing since 2009 and have gained extensive expertise and practical experience in general surgical pathology and cytopathology. We practice subspecialty sign out in surgical pathology and I have an emphasis in breast, gastrointestinal, pancreas, and liver pathology. My collaborations with scientists usually include the histologic assessment of routine Handamp;E stained slides, special stains and immunohistochemical stained sections. I have interpreted both mouse and human tissues in this capacity. It is my clinical experience which allows me to provide practical, clinically relevant interpretations of tissue and the pathologic changes that can occur for my research colleagues.
