Michael Kinsman, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in information technology with a concentration in medicine from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Kinsman earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine then received fellowship training in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Oregon Health and Science University.
Dr. Kinsman’s clinical interests include deep brain stimulation; movement disorders; epilepsy surgery; trigeminal neuralgia; and general, functional and pain neurosurgery.
