Marc F. Inciardi, M.D.
Dr. Inciardi practices breast imaging and breast interventional procedures (biopsy). He has over 30 years of experience in breast imaging, cofounding the first community breast center in 1998 in Kansas City. Additionally, he was a principal investigator in automated breast ultrasound (to detect breast cancer in dense breast tissue, not visible on mammograms), which led to FDA approval of a novel dedicated ultrasound device to detect. breast cancer (ABUS-Automated Breast Ultrasound). He is a recognized leader in ABUS, having taught over 200 physicians how to interpret ABUS, and has given regional and national presentations.
