After completing her undergraduate in Human Biology from Stanford University, Dr. Boersma went on to receive her Master of Science degree in biochemistry from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Dr. Boersma received her medical degree from University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio, where she also completed her internship in Internal Medicine, and residency in Radiation Oncology. In addition to maintaining board certification in her primary practice specialty of Radiation Oncology, she has been actively board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine since 2012.
Dr. Boersma’s clinical areas of specialization in general clinical practice, breast, lung, head and neck, skin, gastrointestinal tract, and lymphoma. Dr. Boersma has extensive experience in Cyberknife and Linac-based stereotactic treatments including both SRS and SABR. She also has interest in palliation and survivorship.
