Melissa Armstrong is the Director of the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program and is an Education Assistant Professor in the Department of Population Health. Dr. Armstrong completed her MA in Communications at Wichita State University and her EdD in Higher Education Administration Policy and Leadership Studies at the University of Kansas.

Overview

In addition to being the Director of the MPH program, Dr. Armstrong teaches required courses in leadership, health communication and serves as the faculty director of MPH student internship experiences. Her areas of scholarship and research interest include faculty professional development, public health curriculum development, and public health accreditation.
