Professional Background
Dr. Marissa Love is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics. She completed a fellowship in allergy, asthma and clinical immunology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is trained to treat the whole spectrum of pediatric and adult allergy, asthma and immunodeficiency-related diseases.
During her medical training, she participated in medical education and research, which awarded her with presentations at national conferences. She was a recipient of the highly regarded Chrysalis Project sponsored by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology in 2015. She continues to be actively engaged in medical education and has a strong interest in adult and pediatric research. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
As an allergist and immunologist, she sees pediatric patients at our Prairie Village office and adult patients at the Medical Pavilion in Kansas City, Kansas. She looks forward to working with you to treat all aspects of allergic, asthmatic and immunological diseases and to provide patient-centered care plans for all ages, from infancy to adults.
