Professional Background

Mojibade Hassan is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Her interests include medical student and resident education, medical education research, and serving on emergency medicine national committees.

Mojibade graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis. She graduated from the combined MD/PhD program at Emory University School of Medicine and completed a PhD in Immunology and Molecular Pathogenesis. Mojibade graduated from the Emergency Medicine Residency program at the University of Florida College of Medicine - Jacksonville. She completed the Medical Education Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.


Research

Overview

Mojibade Hassan's research interests include medical education and sickle cell anemia. She has published and presented nationally and internationally. Mojibade is currently researching asynchronous education, positive deviance, and medical documentation.
