Professional Background

Lauren Foster, OTD, OTR/L, teaches courses in KU's entry-level and post-professional doctoral degree programs in occupational therapy. Her clinical experience includes work in early intervention, children’s mental health, telehealth services, and physical rehabilitation.

Academic Background
Foster graduated from Boston University in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She earned her master's and doctoral degrees in occupational therapy from the University of Kansas in 2009 and 2011, respectively.
From 2010 to 2014, Foster was on the department's faculty before moving to provide occupational therapy services in various clinical settings. She returned to KU in January 2019 to resume her role as a clinical assistant professor.
