ksarmiento@kumc.eduProfessional Background
I am honored to continue with University of Kansas as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. My clinical focus is on inpatient rehabilitation, inpatient consults, spasticity management with botulinum toxin, amputee care and radiculopathy/mononeuropathy EMGs. My academic interests include working closely with PM&R residents during their IPR rotations to increase interest in general rehabilitation. Outside the hospital, I enjoy exploring the city, hiking, crafting, watching TV and spending time with friends and family.
