Professional Background

Professor L'Ecuyer has been a nurse for more than 40 years. Her experiences include hematology/oncology, emergency room, intensive care and acute dialysis/apheresis. She has taught dialysis theory and practice for 15 years, traveling around the United States for classes. She has been an affiliate clinical faculty at the KU School of nursing since 2016 and became a full time faculty member in 2019. She continues to work PRN in the KU inpatient dialysis/apheresis unit.
