Professional Background

Dr. Kristin Holoch is an Assistant Professor in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas Health System.

Dr. Holoch received her medical degree at Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota. She then completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of South Carolina, Greenville Health System. Following residency, she pursued a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, which she completed at the Cleveland Clinic.

She has a passion for helping her patients grow their families, and for walking them through all the highs and lows of that journey. She has a special interest in fertility preservation, and has been an integral part of growing the University of Kansas Hospital's oncofertility program. She enjoys teaching medical students and residents, and introducing them to the unique aspects of her field.

Originally from South Dakota, Dr. Holoch and her family relocated to Kansas in 2015, and she is now proud to call it home. She and her family enjoy exploring new restaurants and attractions in the Kansas City area, and also love traveling to the beach or lake. She looks forward to providing care to couples in the Kansas City area for years to come.


Research

Overview

Dr. Holoch enjoys research that focuses on reproductive immunology, recurrent pregnancy loss, implantation failure. She also has interest in new and emerging techniques in the field of fertility preservation. This is such an important area and she looks forward to collaboration with other physician researchers at the University of Kansas Cancer Center.
