Dr. Grdinovac's research is focused on optimizing care delivery to patients with diabetes. In 2023, she created the Fresh Start Program, an intensive 24-week course combining medication optimization, diabetes education, and social support to improve outcomes in patients with uncontrolled diabetes. She continues to refine and expand the program with the long-term goal of making it a sustainable, reimbursable model of care that can be integrated into routine diabetes management. To further support equitable access to diabetes technology, Dr. Grdinovac and her team also launched the Cray CGM Assistance Program to help patients who are unable to afford continuous glucose monitoring devices.
