Professional Background
Dr. Kristi Bernath is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Director of Simulation for the Emergency Medicine Residency. In addition, Dr. Bernath oversees the SANE program for the Emergency Department.
Dr. Bernath earned her undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University, graduating from the Honors college. She then attended medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Receiving Hospital. Dr. Bernath also served as Chief Resident during her final year of Residency.
