Professional Background

My clinical practice focuses on Acute Burn Management, Burn Reconstruction, and Surgical Wound Care. I utilize the training I received in both my Surgery and Plastic Surgery programs, as well as my Burn Fellowship to help bring the best care to the Burn and Wound patients at the University of Kansas.
Prior to joining the department as faculty, I gained a great deal of experience as the Medical Director of the University of Cincinnati's Burn Center. I am excited to bring my training and experience to better serve the patients here at KU.
