Professional Background
Dr. Jennifer McAllaster, MD, FACS, FASMBS, D-ABOM is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Metabolic, Bariatric, andamp; Minimally Invasive Surgery Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. McAllaster received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. She completed her residency in general surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Dr. McAllaster joined our faculty in 2017 and is board-certified in general surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.
