Professional Background

Dr. Joedd Biggs, MD, RPVI, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Vascular Surgery Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Biggs was born and raised in Kansas City growing up in the ‘northland'. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from William Jewell College with a B.A. in Biochemistry. Dr. Biggs earned his medical degree and completed his general surgery residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine. He then completed his fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Biggs joined our faculty in 2021 and is a board-certified General Surgeon and a board-eligible Vascular Surgeon.
