Dr. Lin joined the University of Kansas Medical Center as Lead Proton Physicist in the Radiation Oncology Department.
Before joining KUMC, Dr. Lin served as an Assistant Professor and Associate Director of the Medical Physics Certificate program at Emory Proton Therapy Center, Emory University, Atlanta, GA. Dr. Lin also served as Assistant Professor I in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC.
Dr. Lin has received numerous awards including the Young Investigator Award and the Stem Cell Research Fellowship Award.
Dr. Lin is board certified by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and The American Board of Radiology. Dr. Lin’s clinical and research interest lies in proton commissioning, photon commissioning, workflow development and clinical program development.
