What is Teacher Externship Day at KU Med?
The Teacher Externship Day at KU Med is a one-day event offered 3-4 times per year at no cost for Kansas health science teachers to gain first-hand experience with health career programs at KU Medical Center and the University of Kansas Health Systems in Kansas City, Kan.
As of Spring 2024, we are also looking into offering continuing education credits for sessions that can apply towards various health care licensures. If you have a need or are interested in this option, please email Tina Goosz-Garetson with your credit needs so we can try to accommodate those.
