The Kansas Association of Sleep Professionals Conference offers evidence-based learning
The Kansas Association of Sleep Professionals (KASP) invites physicians, sleep technologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, respiratory therapists, psychologists, pharmacists and other allied health care professionals to attend the 2025 KASP Conference, October 3-4 in Overland Park, Kansas.
This two-day conference will highlight the latest updates in sleep medicine and technology while exploring the wide range of sleep disorders that affect people of all ages. Participants will gain insight into advances in treatment and technology, hear about policy changes that are shaping the field, and learn how specialties such as surgery and dentistry contribute to improving patient outcomes. The program is designed to provide a comprehensive look at sleep medicine and foster collaboration among disciplines, with continuing education credit available through the KU Area Health Education Center.
The agenda features presentations from experts across the country on topics such as pharmacological treatments for insomnia, myofunctional therapy, parasomnias, forensic aspects of sleep disorders, lifestyle medicine, dentistry’s role in sleep care, hospital-based sleep medicine and surgical approaches to sleep apnea. Attendees will also explore hypersomnia, pediatric insomnia, weight loss drugs in the management of sleep apnea, in addition to hearing updates from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
KU Medical Center's continuing education programs are accredited by the Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education. This two-day conference is designed to strengthen interprofessional collaboration while enhancing knowledge and improving patient care throughout Kansas.
