Blackboard's online courses provide both you and your students with a convenient and effective learning environment, anytime and anywhere. Whether your course is fully-online, hybrid, or web-enhanced Blackboard allows you to select the most effective delivery method for the various activities in your course.
Panopto provides teachers and learners the ability to create recordings for a variety of purpose: recording lectures, pre-class videos, instructional videos, class assignments, and demonstrations.
Blackboard Collaborate is KUMC's solution for academic web conferencing. Collaborate Ultra is geared toward education and student engagement in online environments.
TLT can assist with all phases of the course evaluation process, and also provides support for non-course-related surveys directed to faculty, staff, current students, and alumni.
Poll Everywhere is a web-based response system that allows you to assess, survey, and obtain feedback from your audience. Poll Everywhere gives you the option to embed multiple choice questions, audience generated word clouds, and clickable images directly into your presentation for an interactive experience.
Teaching & Learning Technology (TLT) offers instructional design and course consult services for online, blended, and face-to-face courses. These services include design, development, revision, and technology integration to foster engaging, interactive, and effective learning.
TLT provides support, training, and resources to help you create a course environment so that it can be accessed, understood, and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability. Design content for all users that allows them to interact with the technology in ways that work best for them.

Testing and Evaluations
The Computer Testing Center (CTC) is located in the Dykes Library. With seating for up to 190 students, group testing in a secure environment is a high priority. For students who meet ADA requirements, single-station rooms are available that can be used for extended testing.
Testing Services supports the high-stakes testing platform Examplify (ExamSoft), Respondus LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor.
Learning Spaces and Media Production
KUMC's Learning Spaces were designed with technology in mind: wall-mounted displays allowing screenshare, touch-panel controls and interactive displays, ITV capabilities, recording appliances, and use of Catch Boxes (toss-able microphones). Teaching and Learning Technologies provides a number of audio and video devices for presentation purposes. All equipment is deliverable within most areas of the main campus.
Our learning spaces at the University of Kansas Medical Center are designed to accommodate mobility and flexibility of student-centered learning activities. These spaces are carefully designed with flexible furniture and technology to facilitate interactions both for large and small classrooms and individual/group study spaces.
The TLT-Media Scheduling Department is your first point of contact for any room service or reservation request you may need. Our schedulers are dedicated to finding the solution that will fit your event needs, and handle over 40,000 reservations per year.
TLT strives to provide you quality productions, and superb customer service, while maintaining an affordable rate. This service offers the use of professional quality digital video equipment, as well as a staff with decades of combined video production experience. You can also create your own productions inside of one of our two production studios that allow you to produce professional-quality content.
