Emergencies can happen to any of us, and most often they occur when least expected. Substantial loss of housing, food or clothing due to fire, flood or personal hardship can have devastating effects on an individual or family.
The Rosalie Lanier Gray KU Staff Assistance Fund exists to provide emergency assistance for KU staff members who are struggling due to a natural or personal disaster that has caused financial hardship. Former Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little created the fund in honor of her mother, Rosalie Lanier Gray, in 2017. KU staff experiencing an emergency can apply for assistance by completing the online application form.
Visit KU-Lawrence Human Relations for additional details about the fund.

Staff are the bedrock of our university and contribute to every aspect of our mission. But when emergencies happen, we all need someplace to turn for assistance.
