Hope A. Ring, M.D.

Professional Background

Dr. Hope Ring received her bachelor's degree in Science from Brooklyn College, City University of New York, in Chemistry. She then graduated with her Medical Doctorate Degree from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine. She completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital where she was a Chief Resident. Dr. Ring was also an Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director and a Physician Director for a level 1 Senior Emergency Department in Michigan. She has been on staff at The University of Kansas Health System since December 2021. Nationally, she works on the ACGME Emergency Medicine milestone committee, as an oral board judge for ABEM, and as a prior chair for Envision Health National Healthcare Disparities Committee. Her interests include critical care, academics, and wellness. Dr. Ring currently serves as the medical director for The University of Kansas Urgent Cares.
