Additional KU Medical Center Student Recognition Opportunities
In addition to the Global Scholars Distinction Program (GDSP), there are two other opportunities whereby students can earn distinction for engaging in extracurricular activities related to culture, health disparities, underserved populations, and diverse groups to enrich their academic experience.
-
Qualified Bilingual Health Professional (QBHP)
-
Care of Linguistically and Culturally Diverse Populations (CLCDP)
Additionally, points earned for one distinction can be applied to achieving the three distinctions. For example, a student could earn both the GSDP and Care of Linguistically and Culturally Diverse Populations distinctions. Both distinctions would be noted on the student’s transcript.
