21st Annual Gilbert S. Greenwald Symposium | November 7-8, 2024

This year, our Registration will be processed via an external platform.  Abstract submission and Elevator Pitch submission will still be done through our Greenwald Symposium website. Please let us know if you have any difficulties.

Payment Options/Methods

When you register, please indicate the payment method you prefer.  If selecting Credit Card, your payment will be processed at the time of registration.  All other methods of payment will be handled outside of the Registration process.

Check: can be hand-delivered during the event or mailed prior to the event; please make checks payable to “Greenwald Symposium”.

Credit Card:  All credit card payments will be processed at the time of registration.  Please note that we do not have the Credit Card payment option available onsite during the event, and all credit card payments MUST be processed through the Registration site.

KUMC Internal Account:  This payment option is only available to KUMC faculty, trainees and staff.  When selecting this payment option during Registration, please note that our staff will follow up to collect the Worktags for billing.  PLEASE NOTE that guests cannot be charged to KUMC Internal Accounts.  All Guest Registration must be completed separately and paid for via Check or Credit Card through our Registration website.

Requesting Trainee Travel Award:  Only Trainees will be given this payment option on the Registration site.  Additional information regarding eligibility and information on the Trainee Travel Awards is included below. 

Trainee Travel Awards

Funding is available to support trainee registration, reception and limited travel expenses for the 21st Annual Gilbert S. Greenwald Symposium on Reproductive and Developmental Sciences.  While there is no official deadline for the Trainee Travel Awards, we anticipate contacting selected trainee travel awardees by 4 pm on Monday, November 4.  We will also post the awardee names on our website.  Please review the eligibility criteria below.  If you will meet the criteria, please select “Requesting Trainee Travel Award” on the Payment page of Registration. 

Eligibility Criteria: External (Non-kumc) Trainees

  • Must be a trainee (student, postdoctoral fellow)
  • Must submit an abstract for poster or oral presentation
  • Trainee Elevator Pitches are not required for external trainees; however, when funding decisions are being made, preference will be given to external trainees who give a trainee elevator pitch in addition to presenting a poster/oral presentation.

Eligibility Criteria: Kumc Trainees

  • Must be a trainee (student, postdoctoral fellow)
  • Must submit an abstract for poster or oral presentation
  • Must present a Trainee Elevator Pitch
  • Must volunteer in preparation for or during the symposium

Child and Family Care

Any attendee needing family care should contact our administrative staff. KUMC employees have access to the Bright Horizons Back-Up Care and Family Support Programs.

Nursing rooms are available at both event venues. Please send us an email if you would like more information on family care and/or nursing options.
