Overview

Dr. Chen's research interests are in the areas of quality improvement, mobile-based care delivery, outcomes and health services research, and economic evaluation in medicine. He has expertise in use of EHR and large claim-based datasets, e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, and VA data, and has extensive experience in conducting randomized clinical trials for quality improvement and comparative effectiveness.
