Professional Background

Dr. Forat Lutfi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology and a sub-fellowship in stem cell transplant and cellular therapy at the University of Maryland Medical Center. During fellowship he spent one year in the Cao lab conducting research on graft-versus-host disease as an NIH T32 funded fellow. He earned his medical degree from University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Florida as well.
