Professional Background

Dr. Elizabeth Riley (née Forsythe) serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. An Oklahoma native, she received both Bachelor of Arts in classics & letters and Doctor of Medicine degrees at the University of Oklahoma. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Missouri - Kansas City.

Dr. Riley enjoys practicing the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic medicine in a compassionate and evidence-based manner. She strives to care for and collaborate with her patients in a way that is empowering and considers the whole person. Her interests include the management of both high and low-risk pregnancy, safe vaginal birth after Cesarean section, contraceptive counseling, management of abnormal Pap testing, vulvar and vaginal disorders, and management of pain with sexual intercourse. She performs minimally invasive surgery, including hysteroscopic and laparoscopic procedures.
