Dr. Eric Hockstad is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with sub-certifications in interventional cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Minnesota Hospitals and Clinics . He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Hockstad is the Director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional cardiology at the University of Kansas Health System. He also is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine.
