Professional Background
Elizabeth Lewis, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained family medicine specialist with expertise in sports medicine and adolescent care. Dr. Lewis completed her undergraduate degree at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL where she was recognized on the dean’s list for academic success and was named All American on its NCAA Division III tennis team. From there, she earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, MO. Dr. Lewis then furthered her training with a family medicine residency at Via Christi Family Medicine in Wichita, KS, and a fellowship in sports medicine at Via Christi Sports Medicine in Wichita. Dr. Lewis has published and presented on the topics of sports medicine and adolescent health. Dr. Lewis joined KU Wichita Pediatrics Faculty as Clinical assistant professor in the Section of adolescent medicine August of 2022. Dr. Lewis practices at KU pediatrics Teen Clinic and SBHCs in Valley Center and Haysville.
