Evelyn Qin, M.D.
Assistant Professor, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
eqin@kumc.eduProfessional Background
I am thrilled to serve as the Medical Director of Oncology Rehabilitation at the University of Kansas, where I can contribute to cutting-edge cancer care. I completed my undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis before earning my medical degree and Master of Public Health at the University of Iowa. I did my physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Washington, where I served as chief resident. I went on to refine my expertise during my cancer rehabilitation fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. My clinical and academic interests include the neurologic and musculoskeletal sequela of cancers and their treatments, and how that impacts individuals' function. There are many side effects of cancers and cancer treatments, and patients deserve rehabilitation care to help with their strength, mobility, and daily functioning as part of their comprehensive cancer care.
