Professional Background
Dr Dak Burnett is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at KU Medical Center and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship at the Oschner Clinic in New Orleans, LA. Dr. Burnett specializes in cardiology and evaluation and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. He is a teacher and mentor for medical students, residents and Cardiology fellows residents at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and for the doctors in the general cardiology training program at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
