Deepa Patel, MD

Professional Background

Deepa Patel, M.D., is a clinical assistant professor on the clinical track in the Department of Neurology. She completed her medical degree at Saint James School of Medicine in Bonaire, Netherlands and an internal medicine internship at Drexel University Hahnemann. Dr. Patel then completed her neurology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at KU Medical Center in 2025. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology
Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include general neurology, neuro-palliative care and internal medicine.
