Dr. Beahm is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with a joint appointment in the Department of Neurosurgery, University of Kansas School of Medicine.
Dr. Beahm graduated medical school at the University of Kansas and then completed residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Upon graduation, Dr. Beahm became faculty at LSU where he practiced for two years at the LSU University Hospital. Following this Dr. Beahm entered fellowship as the inaugural fellow in Rhinology and Skull Base surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Beahm's clinical interests include the medical and surgical treatment of a wide gamut of sinonasal disease including recurrent sinusitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and nasal obstruction. Dr. Beahm also has a particular interest in the treatment of the anterior skull base for both malignant and benign tumors. This includes sinonasal cancers and primary brain tumors that affect the anterior skull base. With his colleagues in Neurosurgery and other departments, Dr. Beahm helps to provide a team approach to the complexity of problems that affect the cranial base.
