Wheat State Summit

The Wheat State Summit is held every two years. The symposium is co-sponsored by the Western Kansas Nurse Practitioner Alliance and the University of Kansas Medical Center Area Health Education Center.

About the Wheat State Summit

This symposium is designed to enhance the skills needed by the Advanced Practice Nurse to improve the overall quality of patient care.

Previous discussion topics have ranged from diabetes care, working with the transgender population, dermatology, women's health, opioid issues, human trafficking and sexual assault, and pediatrics.
