The Institute for Community Engagement is the primary division of KUMC that leverages the latest technologies to extend health care, health professional education, support services and other activities across the state of Kansas.

From clinical telemedicine, to social media training for local hospitals, and continuing education and professional development for health care providers, the Institute researches and develops a wide range of distance technology services.

The purpose of the University of Kansas Center for Telemedicine & Telehealth is to provide the citizens of Kansas the best available health care while providing Kansas' health professionals the best available health information and education.

With more than 20 years of experience in telemedicine and telehealth, we continue to meet these goals in the most professional, timely and convenient manner possible.

Utlizing social media to network with our local communities, national voices, and professional organizations while promoting educational opportunities, conferences, regional facilities, and research.
