Frequently Asked Questions
Will Alumni Reunion Weekend be virtual or in person?
Both! University activities on Friday, Oct. 7, as well as class reunion events on Saturday, Oct. 8 will take place in person. Virtual attendance will be available for select university activities on Friday. To see the full schedule of events, please click here.
Why is the programming both virtual and in person?
We want all alumni and guests to be able to participate, no matter the format. Providing both virtual and in-person options is the best way to be inclusive of all parties and to ensure a successful, safe and fun event.
How is KU Medical Center evaluating its safety protocols?
KU Medical Center continues to monitor conditions and regularly consults with public health officials. The university follows the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, the county health departments and our clinical partner, The University of Kansas Health System.
How do I register?
All alumni who plan to attend any Alumni Reunion Weekend activities should register online by Friday, Sept. 30. Registration reserves your spot in programs that are subject to space availability, so please make sure to register as early as possible. If you have any trouble with the online registration page, please call our office at 913-588-1255.
Why should I register early?
Space is limited for some activities, so please register early to reserve your spot. Once an event is full, we'll update the online schedule and online registration to reflect the change. You'll be notified if you have been placed on the waiting list.
How much does it cost to register?
Most events throughout Alumni Reunion Weekend are free to register. There is a registration fee for events where food and/or beverages are served. See the full schedule on the online registration page for more information.
Once I'm registered, how do I change or cancel my registration?
Contact the KU Medical Center Office of Alumni Relations at 913-588-1255 or email@example.com to make changes to your registration or to cancel. Registration cancellations must be received by Thursday, Sept. 15 to be eligible for refund. The KU Medical Center Office of Alumni Relations reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances that would make the event non-viable. Registrants will be offered a refund if the Alumni Relations office cancels an event with a registration fee prior to venue cancellation deadlines.
Where can I stay?
