Media access to campus and classrooms

• While our sidewalks are public property, members of the media must be accompanied by a member of the media relations team of the relevant organization, either KU Medical Center or The University of Kansas Health System, to access buildings.
• Additional permissions may be necessary to access locations that include clinical trials or patient care.
• During the COVID-19 pandemic, there are additional requirements to be considered, and many interviews may be done outside, by phone, or on Zoom.

Film, video and photography permission requirements

• Prior permission must be obtained to use KU Medical Center's property or images in commercial or other non-university film, video or photography projects.
