Christopher P. Miller, MD

Professional Background

Christopher Miller, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He joined the faculty in 2022 following the completion of a fellowship in functional neurosurgery at Thomas Jefferson University.

Dr. Miller finished his neurosurgery residency at KU Medical Center, where he served as co-chief resident during his final year in the program. He also earned his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in neurosciences from Johns Hopkins University.

In addition to numerous research publications, Dr. Miller is credited with multiple research posters and book chapters. He has also contributed numerous research and educational presentations locally and internationally. His clinical interests include epilepsy, movement disorders, spine and tumor. His research interests extend to optimizing outcomes for epilepsy patients and leveraging MR image processing for improved diagnosis and treatment of epilepsy, essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease.
