Partners & Campaigns
Children's Miracle Network KC Heartland is grateful for its partners in the community who participate in a variety of fundraising campaigns throughout the year.
Ace Hardware is a national partner and our largest local retailer is Westlake Ace Hardware. They participate in multiple Round Up campaigns during the year and most notably, "CMN Ace Bucket Days," which takes place in August.
Club Car Wash is an express car wash that offers a full menu of wash options to its customers. They fundraise for CMN throughout the year with their $10 Tuesday campaign. Each Tuesday, the $25 MVP wash is just $10, with $1 of every purchase benefiting KU Medical Center.
During the month of May, Costco fundraises with an ask to each member at the time of checkout. There are 5 locations in the Greater Kansas City area.
Credit Unions from around the area participate in supporting CMN in many different ways. The most popular is Skip A Pay, which allows members to skip a loan payment in return for a donation to CMN. Others participate in World's Finest Chocolate Candy Bar Sales, Change A Child's life coin canister collection and a variety of different activities that allow Credit Union employees and members to make a difference in their communities.
Dairy Queen's most notable CMN fundraiser is "Miracle Treat Day," where a portion of every Blizzard sold is donated to KU Medical Center. This campaign rounds out two months of Miracle Balloon sales from June - July.
Kansas Drug Card has partnered with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals to help provide cost savings on prescription medications. Each time the card is used at a pharmacy, a donation is made to KU Medical Center Pediatrics.
In the month of September, Love's Travel Stops participates in a Round Up campaign. This includes the celebration of National Coffee Day, where $1 is donated for every cup of joe that is purchased.
Panda Express locations fundraise with a Round Up ask at their registers throughout the year. They are the gold standard in asking every customer!
RE/MAX relators support Children's Miracle Network through their Miracle Home Program which allows a donation to be made after every sold transaction in their client's name. Agents and offices throughout the Kansas City area also paricipate in a variety of fundraising events during the year.
Valvoline kicks off their campaign in the month of November with a point of sale ask to every customer.
The Walmart & Sam's Club locations take part in a point of sale ask across all register and self-check-out lanes during the months of June and July. Locations also have the opportunity to raise additional funds all year long through a variety of different events for both customers and associates. Currently, the Walmart and Sam's Club partnership is the CMN's largest fundraising campaign.
