Professional Background

Dr. Christine Boatright is an assistant professor of radiology dedicated to patient care and teaching. She grew up in the Kansas City area and after completing an undergraduate degree in Biological Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia, she ventured south for medical school at the University of Oklahoma. Following medical school, she returned to Kansas City for residency at the University of Kansas. After completing residency, she moved to the beach for a year to complete fellowship training in Body Imaging at the University of California-San Diego.



Dr. Boatright has been involved in several research and educational projects throughout her time while completing her undergraduate degree as well as during medical school, residency, and fellowship training. Most of her more recent projects and research have focused on body-specific MRI topics most notably on hepatocellular carcinoma, prostate cancer, and functional disorders of the female pelvis. She enjoys preparing and giving lectures to medical students and residents and also enjoys discussing complex abdominal imaging cases at multidisciplinary conferences.
