Professional Background

Dr. Chris Chipman is a board-certified family medicine physician and Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center. He currently serves as Medical Director at Vibrant Health Family Health Care, a Federally Qualified Health Center, where he provides full-spectrum primary care to underserved and immigrant populations. A Kansas native, Dr. Chipman earned both his undergraduate degree in Cellular Biology and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas. He completed his residency at the University of Colorado Family Medicine Residency, with focused training in underserved and refugee care, gender-affirming care, and addiction medicine.

Dr. Chipman is committed to advancing health equity through clinical care, education, and community engagement. His work reflects a strong dedication to improving care for historically marginalized communities.
