Dr. Gupta earned his medical degree from the Delhi University College of Medical Sciences and completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, and fellowships in Cytopathology at Henry Ford Hospital and in Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine at the University of Louisville.
His clinical interests span surgical pathology, cytopathology, and transfusion medicine, with board certification in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine. He also holds an MBA from Benedictine College, reflecting his commitment to quality, operational excellence, and patient‑centered care.
He has served for several years as a Laboratory Medical Director, providing leadership in clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and laboratory operations. In addition to his academic role, Dr. Gupta serves as Chief Medical Officer at Liberty Hospital.
