Professional Background

Brittany Hollabaugh, DNAP, CRNA, is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Nurse Anesthesia Education at KU Medical Center. She joined the faculty of the School of Health Professions in July 2019. Prior to her faculty position, she gained invaluable experience practicing in Fort Worth, Texas, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she honed her skills in diverse clinical settings.

In addition to pediatric anesthesia, Hollabaugh has a particular interest in the anesthetic care of patients undergoing ear/nose/throat, plastics and neurosurgical procedures. Her clinical practice reflects a commitment to providing safe and effective anesthesia care tailored to the unique needs of a diverse patient population.

Hollabaugh earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri. Following her undergraduate studies, Hollabaugh pursued advanced education, obtaining her doctorate in nurse anesthesia practice from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
